Problems Starting Welders Log

Welders Log is a ClickOnce application that must be started from the browser using either Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or the new Microsoft Edge Chromium. If you have Microsoft Edge Chromium you may need to turn on ClickOnce Support. To do this see the instructions on our Supported Browsers page. Each ClickOnce application is installed in a per-user, per-application cache folder. You can find the folder like the following: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0.

There are several things that can affect the software from starting such as Antivirus Software, Firewalls, Domain Policies, and Windows Group Policies. In the event the software fails to start please try it from a computer that is outside of your organizations network such as your home computer. If it starts on your home computer or from a computer outside of your organization then it is likely that one of the items mentioned above is affecting the application. At this point please consult with your IT Department to get the issue resolved.
